Travelling with a country view


A new challenge starts today on the Country View Crafts challenge blog - our theme is on your travels.
I have made a layered tag with the base being a mop up tag stamped with the tyre track stamp from Tim Holtz road trip set. The top layer was also a mop up - very dark and grungy but had some metallics in it so once I had embossed it and added a little treasure gold I really liked it.
My cogs were cut from one of my dark wood effect painted master boards. I then treated them with a little dry brushed gesso followed by some Deco Art translucent paint.

    Simply brilliant - the grungy metallic look is great - and the diagonal tyre tracks give the whole thing such movement - really cool!
