Embossing with Masks

Have you seen the fab range of Dinky Stencils and Masks from That's Crafty? I usually use my stencils for building up backgrounds but here I have used the mask in two different ways. Do head over to the That's Crafty blog for all the details.

Getting bright!

There is a new challenge over at That's Crafty today and the theme is to go Bright! So bright I did. Actually this is one of my Hochanda samples using the white/greyboard journal pages from That's Crafty. 

I blended lots of Distress inks over the surface and then used chalk paint to stencil the dragonflies, butterflies and harlequins (That's Crafty Dinky Stencils). The words are from the That's Crafty Word stencils and again I used chalk paints.

Splat!

A quick post to say I am sharing over at That's Blogging Crafty today ... the sneak peak is of one of the That's Crafty! MDF splat uprights I designed for one of the Hochanda shows earlier this year. (Whoops nearly forgot this one!)
