Mixed Media Heart

Happy Sunday. I thought I would play along at a few challenges today. At Clarity it is Bingo time - I have used Clarity stamps (words and background text - but not sure this is visible anymore!), Clarity stencil (leaves) and grunge paste. Lots of distress paints and stains plus some die cuts for added texture and a little treasure gold.

Feminine for Clarity

The challenge over at Clarity for August is 'Feminine' - not my natural style!

All Clarity stamps used on this one, the Clarity butterfly, Edelweiss, Gandhi quote and the foliage from the Clarity journalling set.

Happy Sunday everyone. A little card to share with you today.

My Menu:

Background - Clarity Brick stencil and Distress Inks

Foreground - Clarity Stamp (sorry not sure it's name) - lightly coloured with antique linen DI then distressed with faded jeans and vintage photo. Dragonfly watercoloured with faded jeans.

Butterflies and flowers - punched from old book pages and coloured with Distress Inks.

A little wall art...

I am playing with textures! Here is a 9 x 7 '' piece with tissue stamping on corrugated cardboard mounted on .. mmm.... some card from the back of a pad of paper.

Really wish I hadn't used sparkly mod podge to seal the tissue though - think it is a bit incongruous with everything else!
It does hang with ribbon but it is stuck on my wall with blu tack at the moment...

Still love that Clarity 'today' phrase though .. I could use that a lot.
