ReplyDeleteNikki,
ReplyDeleteI have been MIA lately, but for some reason I was able to find some time this morning to open my e-mail from A Vintage Journey, just to find this beautiful card made by you, so I had to pop in for a closer look and leave you a comment. Your vintage valise is just wonderful, and you have really taken Tim's technique and put your lovely, grungy Nikki stamp on it! I really enjoyed your tutorial, and LOVE the "leather" bits! And no one does Stormy Sky like you, my friend!
I didn't know that this technique was being showcased this month, and have been struggling with a current piece. A couple of days ago, I decided to go with this technique after glancing through my Tim volumes (I haven't been able to visit blogs for inspiration). How ironic is that??? You have given me further inspiration, though, by making the leather straps! Stay tuned and big hugs for the fantastic inspiration!
A gorgeous piece of art.
ReplyDeleteThis was never a die I thought I wanted, but Nikki, I love what you have done with it! Your TWC technique is fabulous and I just love all the details you have shared with us! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteVery authentic "Old World" look !
ReplyDeleteHello Nikki,
ReplyDeleteHow are you? I do not seem to be catching up with my CVC teamies for some reason, I think everyone is too busy.
I love this creation; it is unique and and the palette is so Vintage looking, the elements have been put together very creatively.
Smiles:)
