I have been having some fun time playing (yeh!) while making a few Christmas cards.
My card today has a background of tarnished brass distress stain with the same colour distress spray added. I then decided to get the gilding flakes out and stamped my snowflake in glue before adding the flakes.
I do love the Bigz stacked snowflake die. I coloured the snowflakes in either tarnished brass DS or antiqued bronze distress paint and while wet added vintage photo and gold embossing powder and a little antique linen distress glittter. Each of these were just sprinkled on before applying my heat gun. I love both the texture and sparkled this creates.
A little distressing of edges, inking, adding a sentiment and matt layer finished my card.
