Birdy Cards

A couple of birthday cards for friends... both the same layout, but different colour schemes! Still cant decide which I prefer.

The backgrounds were made slightly differently - alcohols inks for orange and distress inks for blue.     The images are a mixture of Tim Holtz (bird and swirly thing!), Clarity (burlap and script) and Stampin Up for the butterfly. The birds are coloured in with Wink of Stella so are a little sparkly!

I would like to enter the following:
Our Creative Corner - Flaming June (the orange one!)
Craft Room challenge - Things with Wings

Thanks for looking..

  3. Don't think I can choose either, they are both fabulous and what a great way to get a couple of cards made in one go xx

  4. I could not choose either, I love the cool blues and the warm tones of orange.....both are beautiful and I really love that burlap Clarity stamp too. Anne xx

  5. Both your colour schemes are beautiful and on another day I could have chosen your blue tones for my challenge this month instead of the orange - I love them! The bird is a gorgeous image and I particularly like the way you've 'grounded' him on the foliage. Of course, I have to choose the orange one!
Thank you so much for joining us at Our Creative Corner this month.
