The wall hanging is approx. 10 x 6.5 inches and the base is part of a cardboard box with some of the corrugated card showing.
I primed this base with gesso before stamping with the Clarity Butterfly and Today phrase stamp in blacks and browns and then edging the card too.
The butterfly has been further stamped on a torn piece from a Tracker bar box and mounted on another scrap which is again stamped withe Today phrase.
The right hand 'Love' feature is from a used envelope embossed with letters and inked. Embossed letters were also cut out and used to create the word love. I use my lovely new Clarity corner stamp on here too.
The flowers were punched from cardstock which had been stamped and distressed with the same Clarity stamps mentioned. Here is a close up:
A few die cuts, a piece of lace, some Chit chat stickers and some string to tie up finished the hanging. The chit chats were mounted on mini tags stamped out of card inked with the butterfly and phrase again!
I think that was everything ... there was a version 2, but decided I prefer version 1!
Here is version 2 anyway:

Congratulations for your January entry.
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of grunge but I like this very much. So much to look at and full of interest. I agree with you, I like version 1 best. Good luck.
