Journals with friends

Eileen Hull Journal by Nikki Acton
Today I am sharing one of 2 journals I made a couple of weekends ago. Cathryn (for those that know her!) and I had a play day and got very busy with these journals. A bit like when Brenda and I did our Skype journals - the finished 4 projects were very different!

I crackled my main cover and then painted 2 panels for the front and back with various painty techniques. The journal is covered with Tims Holtz tattered florals and word chips. There are lots of pages inside ready for someone to fill!

I would like to play along at:

Have a great week.
Nikki

  1. Oh wow Nikki, your crackled and painty journal cover is gorgeous!! The monotones are so lovely, the flowers look so full of texture - I love it... Thanks so much for joining in our challenge this month at Mini Album Makers.

PS. I do wish you and Cathryn could have done the AALLandCreate weekend too, it was great fun. Hugs, Anne xx

  4. Nikki, it sounds like so much fun! I love the result. Your crackle background is outrageously cool and the flat flowers are so pretty this way and really look amazing. I love the monochrome color palette and use of Tim's chipboard sentiment here. Gorgeous my friend! We are so thankful you shared with us at Frilly and Funkie and Mini Album Makers this month. Big hugs, Autumn
