Hope, Love and Dream

Over at A Vintage Journey today is my turn to share a little inspiration and I have chosen to share on the use of Foil Tape sheets. Do hop over for lots of piccies and a long post!

I thought I would just quickly share a little project using foil here today too. This small wall hanging is made from a chipboard coaster which I covered in tissue tape and then added ink to the edges. I took some distress paints (black soot and picket fence) and put some of each on my craft mat before placing an MDF heart into them to create a bit of marbling. The butterfly is made from a foil sheet I had stuck to card and embossed with a butterfly embossing folder. Once embossed I cut out the large butterfly and then grabbed my alcohol inks to colour it. Once dry I added a little black archival around the edges.

Thanks for looking
