Don't forget your toothbrush

Now I am sure this one has been done a hundred times before but the Valise Bigz die is new to me! I wanted to make a little 3D case out of it.

It is all cut out of kraft card including all the panels to join the three closed sides which are covered with vintage photo DP. I then cut all the pieces again in some Tim Holtz papers and inked up the edges and straps etc.
Add some tickets, a map for the journey (Tim Holtz stamps) and some other ephemera and here is my little case for Frilly and Funkie's Vintage Travel challenge.

The front....
The back - with my Nikki luggage label....

Wishing all those who are about to go on holiday a wonderful time!

Thank you for the comments on my blog also. I was really interested to see that you describe my work as quirky. That got me thinking as I didn't really think I had a 'style' so I am really happy that you have spotted one. I like quirky,it's perfect :)
